This year we’re tipping our hat to the late, great Greg Lake of Emerson Lake and Palmer (RIP) with a cover of his tune, ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’, with a huge assist from Cleveland based guitarist and all around badass Nick Garba. It’s always been one of our favorite holiday tunes – the lyrics speak volumes. We’re admittedly late to the game this year due to 1. procrastination, 2. holiday travel, and mostly 3. Tom getting the flu/cold/the black death and passing it directly on to Tara, but we finally just said ‘fuck it’ and Tara sang through the snot and other bodily fluids (yum). So here she is! ENJOY IT Y’ALL and pour one out for Greg Lake while you take a listen to this year’s tune.

Hey all!  We’re happy to report that we just wrapped up recording our annual holiday LP (in the gym in our apartment building – SUPER swanky) and it’s hitting right to the heart this Christmas Eve, since we’re far away from our families down in Austin this year.  So help us get a little piece of home this Christmas by celebrating with our tunes wherever you are.  We’ve got everything on here, from Christmas 2010’s classic shredder of the classic ‘Sleigh Ride’, to 2013’s booze-soaked ‘Christmastime Is Here’ from SNL with the help of Benjamin & Sasha Reid and more than a few beers, to last year’s Carpenters’ ‘Merry Christmas Darling’ and the Ramones’ ‘Father Christmas’ covers performed with the gifted Phil Carroll and mastered by 1/3 of the Sixes, Justin Hofmann, whom we miss DEARLY right now.  This year, we ran the gamut from Kenny Loggins to Billy Squire to Peanuts with an assist on the Rhodes by Thomas Shaw from Mount Pressmore, and had a hell of a time doing it.  Enjoy – MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL!
